Ahh, the need for speed…
You catch them at a stoplight, in traffic, or passing by for only a second. That changes the way you design.
Vehicle graphics behave differently in the real world. Curves distort layouts, seams interrupt imagery, and visibility shifts depending on speed, distance, and angle.
While at We Are Alexander, I worked on translating existing campaign systems across a range of environmental and transit applications, from cars and trucks to buses and event vehicles.
The challenge wasn’t simply scaling the artwork larger. It was understanding how brand systems function once they’re moving through real environments.
Each application needed to communicate quickly, remain recognizable from a distance, and adapt across dramatically different formats without losing cohesion.
Design built for motion, visibility, and the realities of the road.
